"Not the best spot for a family day out"
We were hoping for a fun family day, but the kids got bored quickly. What made it more frustrating was that the staff didn’t seem very willing to help when we had questions. I don’t expect anything fancy, just a bit of basic kindness and effort, especially when families are trying to make the most of their day together.

Overall, it was fine, but this is where it got annoying: the departure spot was way too far from where we were staying. It took extra time and effort just to get there, which made the start of the day more stressful than it needed to be...

The staff seemed friendly and professional overall, but I felt a bit ignored during my visit. It was like they were nice when they did talk to me, but I had to wait around or get their attention more than I expected.

"Honestly, I didn’t feel safe"
I booked a trip with City Experiences and, honestly... I just didn’t feel very safe the whole time. The safety talk felt really rushed, and it was kind of hard to hear, so I wasn’t even sure everyone knew what to do or where anything was.
The life jackets didn’t look great either, some seemed old and were just sort of piled up. The staff looked busy, but... not really tuned in to what was going on around them. I wouldn’t book with them again.

"Late departure and missing stop was frustrating"
My sister and I booked this expecting to follow the listed route, but the boat left about 25 minutes late and then skipped one of the stops completely. The staff didn’t really explain what was going on, which made it even more frustrating. It ended up throwing off our afternoon plans, and I wouldn’t book it again.

"Got Help in the End"
It took a little while to get everything sorted out, but they did eventually help me and get it taken care of. I was a bit frustrated at first, but by the end I felt relieved that someone followed through.

"The commentary was easy to follow and..."
The commentary was easy to follow and the sound was actually clear, which is always a pleasant surprise on these things. It did get a bit loud at times, though, because apparently my eardrums needed the full immersive experience.

"I was excited when I got there..."
I was excited when I got there because the atmosphere was really nice, good views, fun crowd, and just an easygoing vibe. For a while I was thinking, okay, this is a great spot. But after some time, the entertainment started to feel a little flat, and my mood kind of went from impressed to just waiting for something more to happen. Still enjoyed the setting, though

The bathrooms were bad, dirty and they smelled awful, honestly. For what I paid, the onboard amenities felt really, really underwhelming. I expected at least a little more comfort, but nope. I wouldn’t book this again

The trip itself was fine, nothing really wrong with it, but the seating situation was kind of annoying. The seats were okay at first, but after a while they felt a little cramped and not that comfortable. When we got on, there also weren’t many open seats left, so we ended up having to sit apart. Not a horrible experience, just average and a bit frustrating for what we paid

The scenic route was nice overall, and we did get some really views of the city. Being out on the water was relaxing, and I managed to take a few photos I actually really like.
That said, there was a lot more waiting around than I expected, which got a little frustrating. Once we were moving, the sightseeing was fine, but some parts felt slow, and I wish they shared more interesting info about what we were passing.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just kind of average for the price. I’m glad I did it once, but with all the waiting and the tour feeling a bit underwhelming, I probably wouldn’t be in a hurry to book it again...

"Pretty Disappointing Overall"
This place just didn’t do it for me. The food came out cold, the drinks were weak, and everything had that cheap, thrown-together taste. Meh. I really wanted to like it, but for what we paid, it just wasn’t worth it. Disappointing.

The crowds weren’t handled very well, and boarding ended up feeling chaotic. It kind of seemed like no one was really keeping things under control, which made the whole experience more stressful than it needed to be.

"Not Really Worth the Price"
I booked through cityexperiences.com and felt let down for what we paid. It wasn’t like the whole thing was awful or anything, but the price just kept making me think, wait, this is it? I expected a lot more, and even the basic stuff felt like it either cost extra or just wasn’t really worth it. If it had been cheaper, maybe I’d feel differently, but as it was, I don’t think I’d book again.

"Surprisingly painless booking"
I booked through cityexperiences.com and, shockingly, the whole thing was simple. Checkout was clear enough, and my tickets landed in my email right away, which felt almost too efficient for the internet. A couple of pages took their sweet time loading, because apparently we can’t have everything, but overall I didn’t run into any real issues

"No real plan once the weather turned"
so we booked a harbor cruise, the weather looked like it was going downhill all afternoon. City Experiences still had everyone show up and just stand around waiting, with barely any updates about what was actually happening.
When they finally decided to change things, the staff seemed confused. Different people were giving different answers about refunds, rescheduling, and what we were supposed to do next, which made the whole situation even more frustrating.
I totally understand that weather can mess with plans, but having some kind of backup plan seems like the bare minimum. We ended up wasting our evening and our money, and I don’t think I’d book with them again.

"Decent trip, but accessibility could use some work"
I went on this with my mom, who uses a walker, and overall it was okay. The staff were friendly and helped us get on without making it a big deal, which I appreciated. That said, the ramps felt kind of steep, maybe more than we expected, and there seemed to be only a few seating options that really worked for her. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I do wish the accessibility details online had been a bit clearer before we showed up.

"Felt less organized than other tours around us"
The tour was kind of a letdown. Our guide didn’t seem very prepared and mostly shared really basic facts without adding much personality or detail. I noticed other groups nearby had guides who were way more engaged and seemed to be giving people a better experience. With our group, it felt more like we were just being shuffled from one spot to the next rather than actually getting a thoughtful tour...

"Left feeling disappointed with the boat"
I was in a bad mood quickly after getting on the boat because it just felt dirty and neglected. The tables were sticky, the windows were all smeared up, and the bathroom already smelled awful before we even pulled away from the dock. It really didn’t seem like anyone had properly cleaned it between trips.
The whole thing also had a worn-down, uncared-for vibe. Some of the seats were ripped, the paint was peeling, and I noticed rust in a few places. For what we paid, I was expecting something at least clean and reasonably looked after, but this left me feeling let down. I wouldn’t book it again.

"Refund Process Was a Total Headache"
I booked a city cruise but ended up having to cancel because our plans changed. the cancellation policy felt way more confusing than it needed to be, and trying to get a clear answer from support was like pulling teeth. They did eventually respond, but the refund took forever — like, I was starting to wonder if it had sailed off into the sunset with the cruise. I had to follow up more than once, which was super annoying. Maybe the actual tour is lovely, but the whole refund situation really left me feeling frustrated. Not a complete disaster, but definitely not an experience I’d want to repeat.
